Welcome to ShepparCon 2025! This guide is your ultimate resource for making the most out of your experience at the convention. Whether it’s your first time or you’re a seasoned attendee, there’s something here for everyone.

Starting and Finishing Times

Friday 4th July from midday to midnight
Saturday 5th July from 10am to midnight
Sunday 6th July from 10am to 6pm

Getting in Early

Unfortunately our venue doesn’t sell breakfast. The good news is Tinto Bakery (across the road from The GV Hotel) are going to provide an offer of a coffee and pastry for $10.

Parking

The GV has ample parking available to use behind the venue. Access via North Street

Events

Adaptation Board Game Demo

  • Day: Friday 1pm – 7pm
  • Description: Learn how to build a more resilliant community in the face of climate change with this game.

Blood on the Clocktower

  • Host: Geoff Setty

  • Description: A social deduction game where players try to discover the demon among them, or, if you are the demon, eliminate all villagers without being found out. Participation continues even after a player’s character is ‘killed’.

Blokus Tournament

  • Day: Sunday 1pm
  • Description: A quick-to-learn, fast-paced game where the goal is to place as many of your pieces on the board while blocking others. Sign up sheet will be at the check in counter.

Wits & Wagers

  • Day: Saturday 8pm
  • Description: A team trivia game where you don’t need to know much to have fun. Open to everyone and always a highlight of the Con. 

Super Skills Kids Event

  • Day: Saturday 2pm
  • Description: Kids can participate in a variety of dexterity games to win prizes.

Tumblin’ Dice Kids Event

  • Day: Sunday 11am
  • Description: A Tumblin’ Dice tournament for kids, a staple event at ShepparCon.

Space Night

Description: Dress in your favorite space themed outfits and compete for the best look to win a prize Saturday Night

The AfterGame App

Side Quests

Your lanyard will contain a grid of challenges to complete during the Con. Get a stamp for each completed quest, and once all nine are done, you’ll receive a special ShepparCon 2025 sticker.
