Firstly a great big thank you to everyone who attended ShepparCon2017 as patrons, sponsors, and organisers. We were overwhelmed with the reception of our first board game convention and are gearing up for next year already! More on that later…
Survey Results:
Thanks to everyone who filled out the survey. Having listened to all your comments and feedback, we hope that it will give us not only things you loved and want to keep, but also more ideas on how to make next year even better. We have picked out some key results below that we found interesting.
Most of you heard about ShepparCon via word of mouth or Facebook.
All the board game libraries were used extensively.
And over 70% of you made use of the Find Extra Players and Teacher Wanted flags
Also,Terraforming Mars was voted the favourite game, closely followed by The Brigade, and coming in third was Santorini.
And to wrap up ShepparCon 2017, congratulations to Dominique Gohr for winning a ticket to ShepparCon 2018 for completing the survey!

We are pleased to announce that we have begun planning ShepparCon2018 and have both a date and location!
So…….. *drum roll please*
We have booked the GV Hotel for the weekend of July 7th and 8th, 2018!
The GV has a great space with plenty of room to fill to the brim with gamers. It is located right in the heart of Shepparton (223 High Street), with plenty of great cafes, restaurants, and accommodation all within walking distance. Located only 6 minutes walk from the Shepparton train station, we’re sure our new venue will be a hit!
Tickets will be on sale early 2018 so keep an eye out.
